Earl Grey Raspberry Iced Tea

A refreshing iced tea combining citrusy Earl Grey, sweet-tart raspberries, and a splash of fresh lemon juice.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, plus more for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar, adjust to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh lemon slice or mint sprig for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Add 1 cup of the water to a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Keep the remaining 1 cup of water in the refrigerator.
  • When the water starts simmering, add the raspberries and mash them with a spoon or fork. Add the tea bags and brew for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a heat-proof pitcher or container. Stir in the lemon juice and sugar or honey. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Add the reserved cup of cold water and refrigerate until the tea is completely chilled.
  • Pour the tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lemon slice or mint sprig. Enjoy.
