Earl Grey Raspberry Iced Tea
A refreshing iced tea combining citrusy Earl Grey, sweet-tart raspberries, and a splash of fresh lemon juice.
Prep Time 15 minutes mins
- 2 cups water
- 2 Earl Grey tea bags
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar, adjust to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lemon slice or mint sprig for garnish, optional
Add 1 cup of the water to a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Keep the remaining 1 cup of water in the refrigerator.
When the water starts simmering, add the raspberries and mash them with a spoon or fork. Add the tea bags and brew for about 5 minutes.
Strain the tea into a heat-proof pitcher or container. Stir in the lemon juice and sugar or honey. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Add the reserved cup of cold water and refrigerate until the tea is completely chilled.
Pour the tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lemon slice or mint sprig. Enjoy.
